Previous Job
Before transitioning to UX full time, I supported 700+ staff globally for the U.S. Navy through special projects for Fleet and Family Centers. I produced presentations, print, and web content for a virtual Professional Development and Training Team.
I was looking for a more challenging and rewarding career. UX allows me to use my creativity, research, strategy, facilitation and presentation skills with a team. Together, we get to enhance people’s lives!”
Getting into UX Design
After creating websites and providing graphic support for multiple company sites, digital ads, etc… over past few years, I attended General Assembly – Atlanta (Full-time User Experience Program) to learn the latest mythologies. Currently, my primary pursuit are User Experience, User Interface, and Interactive Designer job positions and opportunities.
Extracurricular Activities
When I’m not designing awesome experiences, I like to:
- fish with my dad/friends
- read books on personal development
- attend meet-ups and workshops to learn different subjects
- attend sporting events
- spend quality time dining with family/friends
- share my experiences with others
- work on community challenges
Other Experiences
My design career began as a production artist with The Coca-Cola Company, where I later served as a freelance graphic designer and presentation specialist. I produced presentations for the late Roberta Goizueta, the company’s former CEO and Sergio Zyman, its former head of Global Marketing who famously introduced “New Coke” unsuccessfully and relaunched “Original Coke,” to re-engage core consumers.
I’ve worked with Fortune 500 companies, boutique agencies, design firms and small businesses. I’ve had the opportunity to teach design principles on the collegiate level and at numerous design workshops
